Who designed the Ferrari Esports Arena in Abu Dhabi?
Meet ARAM, the creative force behind the world’s first hybrid esports motorsport venue
In the fast-moving world of immersive entertainment, innovation often means stepping into uncharted territory. That was exactly the challenge when Blacklist Creative, a UK-based agency, set out to launch the Ferrari Esports Arena at Ferrari World Abu Dhabi. Their vision was bold: create the first arena that merges the thrill of competitive gaming with the adrenaline of motorsport.
To bring this pioneering concept to life, they chose ARAM, Poland’s largest creative and technical production powerhouse — a company with unmatched experience in designing and delivering esports venues worldwide.
A trusted name in esports venue design
For more than a decade, ARAM has been shaping some of the world’s most iconic esports experiences. From the legendary Intel Extreme Masters Katowice (often called the “cathedral of esports”) to the PUBG Global Finals, Pokémon World Championships, and the ADAC SimRacing Expo, ARAM’s portfolio is filled with industry-defining productions.
This credibility was further reinforced when ARAM was invited by the Saudi Esports Federation to help conceptualize seven permanent esports venues across the Kingdom — a testament to its strategic role as both a creative and technical partner.
Two months to deliver Ferrari’s first esports motorsport arena
When Blacklist Creative commissioned ARAM for the Ferrari Esports Arena, the timeline was as ambitious as the idea itself: less than two months to design, plan, and produce a complete package of CAD-level technical documentation, schematics, and engineering plans.
The task was not only about meeting deadlines. It was about creating an authentic hybrid arena where Ferrari enthusiasts, motorsport fans, and competitive gamers could all feel at home.
Everything — from racing simulators and broadcast systems to lighting, rigging, video integration, and show control infrastructure — had to align with Ferrari’s brand heritage and the high-octane spirit of sim racing.
From concept to immersive reality
To ensure the Ferrari Esports Arena would stand as a global showcase, ARAM combined its in-house team of engineers, CAD designers, and project managers with a world-renowned lighting designer. The result was a seamless blend of architectural lighting, dynamic show effects, racing cues, and esports-ready atmospheres.
By uniting motorsport authenticity with esports energy, ARAM created an arena that is more than a venue — it is a hybrid entertainment experience, one that sets a new benchmark for how gaming and racing can coexist under one roof.
Why ARAM?
The Ferrari Esports Arena proves why ARAM is more than a production company. It is a strategic partner for federations, publishers, and organizers who want to transform competitive play into unforgettable, audience-driven experiences.
With a unique mix of creativity, engineering expertise, and reliability under pressure, ARAM continues to show why it’s trusted by some of the world’s most demanding clients.
